DESIGNED FOR MICHAEL KORS
Michael Kors introduced his flagship store at 520 Broadway in New York City with a fashion show broadcast over Instagram. We provided customized LED display walls on two levels. Upstairs, we collaborated with Spreadhouse, showcasing their video content behind the DJ while downstairs, guests stepped up to our curved 16 ½’ x 10’ LED wall and interacted with motion control integration by Imaginex.
To truly integrate our screens into the store’s stunning modern architecture, we custom fabricated hand-painted surrounds.
We began set up at midnight and even found time for a quick nap before their world premiere at 9am.
GOING THE DISTANCE AT THE CHICAGO MARATHON
With 45,000 runners and 1.7 million spectators, the Chicago Marathon is a massive undertaking. We partnered to help NIKE inform their registered runners and their supporters about their times and progress throughout the race.
We built and installed four 11 ½’ x 6 ½’ screens—two near Mile 8 at Wrigleyville and two in Chinatown near Mile 21. Each hung from rigging designed to support the 750 lb screens in any weather.
Since we couldn’t begin installation until midnight before the race, our crew days ran a grueling nineteen hours from set up to breakdown. Somehow, that seemed fitting.
